Zusammenfassung

Synergy in Western Australia is seeking a DER Platform Operator for a 12-month fixed-term role based in Perth. You will coordinate DER/VPP fleets, manage daily operations, and ensure delivery against contractual requirements, supporting SWIS reliability.

The role requires tertiary qualifications in engineering/science/IT or related electrical trade and at least 3+ years in the electrical energy sector, with hands-on experience in DER technologies and third-party partnerships.

Qualifikationen

• Tertiary qualifications in Engineering, Science, IT or Commerce/Business or Electrical Trade qualification with relevant certification and experience.
• 3+ years' experience in the Electrical Energy industry including recent technical roles; working knowledge of solar and battery inverter standards.
• Strong technical foundation in engineering or IT with knowledge of DER technologies and related monitoring, control platforms.

Aufgaben

• Operate, dispatch and manage DER/VPP fleets during AEMO NCESS activations with compliance to availability and performance.
• Monitor asset performance and availability, triage faults and initiate corrective actions.
• Perform DER device capability and compliance testing to validate functionality and readiness for VPP operations.
• Plan and coordinate preventive/corrective maintenance using SAP to manage work orders and maintain records.
• Coordinate with maintenance contractors and suppliers to progress scheduled maintenance and ensure adherence to instructions.
• Review contracts and coordinate operational and payment processes to ensure timely and accurate execution.
