  • Strong communication, decision-making, and IT skills.
  • Able to work flexibly to meet the needs of the service.
  • Hold a Level 5 Diploma in Health & Social Care (preferable).
  • Knowledge of community engagement, mentoring, and change management (preferable).
  • Financial planning, budgeting, and resource allocation experience (preferable).
  • Advanced IT and systems management skills (preferable).
  • Awareness of diversity, inclusion, and cultural understanding in care (preferable).

Responsibilities

  • Support the Service Manager with the day-to-day management of the service.
  • Ensure the service is appropriately staffed and operates in line with individuals' assessed needs.
  • Oversee and maintain regulatory compliance (CQC, H&S, Safeguarding) and contribute to internal audits.
  • Support with recruitment, onboarding, induction, and training of new staff.
  • Manage supervisions, appraisals, and day-to-day performance of team members.
  • Promote a positive and transparent working culture and model best practice across the service.
  • Ensure person-centred care plans are regularly reviewed, up to date, and reflective of individual needs.
  • Provide direct care and support when needed and lead the consistency of care across the service.
  • Maintain strong relationships with external stakeholders, including families, healthcare professionals, and commissioners.
  • Monitor and support financial performance, including rota management, petty cash control, and budgeting tasks.
  • Use internal systems including PeopleHR, Deputy, Nourish, Radar, Iplicit, and JobTrain to maintain accurate records.

We have an exciting opportunity for a passionate and experienced Deputy Manager to join our team and support the delivery of exceptional care to individuals with Learning Disabilities, Autism, and Mental Health needs.

About The Role

As a Deputy Manager, you will:
