Job summary

CQ Field Mining Services, a diversified maintenance and project solutions provider across Australia and PNG, seeks a Group Financial Controller – Deputy CFO to join its Finance leadership team. The role focuses on strengthening governance, delivering accurate financial reporting, and providing strategic insights that influence business decisions.

You will lead core finance functions, manage cash and capital, and drive continuous improvement in systems and processes while developing the finance

Qualifications

• Strong technical accounting background with CA/CPA
• Proven leadership for finance teams and cross-functional partners
• Advanced ERP, Excel, financial modeling and reporting skills

Responsibilities

• Own financial performance of the Group and drive governance.
• Provide commercial insight and partner with operational leaders.
• Manage cash, working capital, treasury and financing facilities.
• Lead and develop finance team and champion continuous improvement in systems.
• Support strategic decision-making with accurate financial information.
