Directhaul in Darwin, Northern Territory, is seeking a Depot Operator to support the sales and delivery of fuel and lubricants across the NT. The role focuses on depot-based administration, invoicing, stock balancing and coordinating resources within a dynamic fuel business environment.

You will handle customer enquiries, maintain stock accuracy, and collaborate with leadership to improve depot processes while learning the fuel industry from ground level in a supportive team.

Responsabilités

• Manage inbound customer enquiries, quotes, and orders by phone, email, and in-store. Maintain high standards of customer service and address any customer concerns effectively.
• Depot stock control, including stock reconciliation, invoicing, and managing site fuel balances.
• Fill the depots pods ready for transport to Island customers.
• Day-to-day operations including depot inspections, depot dips, vehicle inspections.
• Focal point for accuracy in our in-house systems, including ERP.
• Collaborate with Senior Leaders to improve depot processes, including streamlining and standardising stocks and procedures across all locations.

The Depot Operator role is responsible for a wide variety of depot-based tasks, supporting the sales and delivery of fuel and lubricants to our customers in Darwin and the wider NT. This role will be pivotal to driving operational efficiency through a number of tasks including timely customer invoicing, coordination of depot resources, stock balancing and customer engagement.

Whilst the successful applicant doesn’t need fuel industry experience, it is expected that they have strong communication and organisation skills and a willingness to learn. The successful candidate will need to be an enthusiastic team player who has delivered strong results in a similar operational role.

Your responsibilities will be to provide general depot duties and administration duties, including:

• Manage inbound customer enquiries providing price quotes and ordering via phone, email and over the counter. Maintain high standards of customer service and address any customer concerns effectively
• Depot Stock Control including: Stock reconciliation, invoicing and managing site fuel balances
• Filling the depots Pods ready for transport to Isaland customers
• Day-to-day operations including, depot inspections, depot dips, vehicle inspections
• Focal point for accuracy in our In-house systems, including ERP.
• Collaborate with Senior Leaders to improve depot processes, including streamlining and standardising stocks and procedures across all locations
