Job summary

CitiPower and Powercor is seeking a Depot Operations Manager to oversee overhead and underground works, construction, maintenance, and restoration activities, leading a team of employees, contractors and service providers.

You will ensure compliance with network standards, health and safety targets, and cost efficiency while delivering projects within schedule and quality expectations.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading field teams and industrial relations.
• Technical knowledge of overhead and underground distribution assets.
• Commercial acumen to monitor project performance.
• Familiar with construction and field services management for HSE, cost, schedule, quality.
• Proven coaching and communication skills.
• Electrical trade qualification or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Lead multi-discipline teams including resource partners on electrical construction projects.
• Ensure resources are used efficiently to meet timelines, quality, HSE, and costs.
• Provide site leadership and manage stakeholder communications (enquiries, complaints, issues).
• Support planning across HSE, reliability, HR, sub-contracting, and finances.
• Ensure projects deliver within schedule, cost and quality constraints.
• Develop skills and behaviours to meet workload demands now and in future.
• Manage overtime and stand-downs balancing financial and HR requirements.
