Job summary

Westpac is seeking a Manager, Business Deposit Pricing to lead day-to-day pricing for the bank's business deposit products in a hybrid Sydney role. You will set term deposit rates, coordinate pricing changes and review discretionary pricing requests to balance customer retention with portfolio performance.

You will leverage data and commercial insight to monitor balances, margins, and competitor activity while partnering with Treasury, Finance, Product, Risk and Distribution to deliver pricing

Qualifications

• Experience in pricing, product management, treasury, finance, strategy or a related commercial area within financial services.
• Strong commercial acumen, with the ability to understand portfolio performance, revenue, margins or profit and loss outcomes.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to interpret data, identify trends and provide practical insights.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across a range of business areas.
• An understanding of deposit products, funding, balance sheet management, pricing frameworks or financial markets.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day pricing of Westpac's business deposit products and coordinate pricing changes.
• Monitor deposits balances, margins, and competitor activity to identify trends and opportunities.
• Partner with Treasury, Finance, Product, Risk and Distribution to deliver pricing campaigns and customer offers.
• Contribute to pricing tool and process improvements and support pricing controls.
