Job summary

Evergreen Dental Care in Melbourne is seeking an experienced Dental Receptionist to greet patients, manage the appointment diary and support clinicians across a busy front desk. The role rewards initiative, teamwork, and a calm, welcoming approach for patients from their first call to their next appointment.

Hours are Tue–Fri 8:00 am–5:30 pm and Saturdays 8:00 am–3:30 pm, with no late nights or Sundays. Training and growth opportunities are offered within a modern, patient-focused practice.

Qualifications

• Experience in dental reception and understanding of how a dental practice runs.
• Organised, proactive and able to juggle priorities without rushing patients.
• Take pride in getting things right, including the little details.
• Communicate warmly and respectfully with patients and colleagues.
• Own your work, ask questions when needed and follow through.

Responsibilities

• Make first impressions count by welcoming patients warmly and easing anxious visitors.
• Manage appointments and coordinate clinicians’ schedules to keep the day running smoothly.
• Be the friendly voice on the phone, handling enquiries clearly and with care.
• Keep patient records accurate and processing payments efficiently.
• Communicate with clinicians and teammates to ensure consistent, thoughtful care.
• Support the team by assisting with clinical tasks when needed.
