Job summary

Dental Assistant Network's Chermside centre is seeking a confident Dental Reception / Dental Assistant to join as a permanent part-time team member. You will be the welcoming face, manage front desk duties, schedule patients, and support chairside duties as needed.

Ideal candidates will have reception experience in a healthcare setting, strong communication, and a willingness to learn dental assisting skills. This role offers stability with a Monday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday roster.

Qualifications

• Previous reception experience essential, ideally in a dental or healthcare setting.
• Excellent communication skills with a warm, confident, patient-focused manner.
• Comfortable working independently on reception and handling a busy front desk.
• Dental Assistant experience highly regarded, or a genuine willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Front-of-house reception duties, including greeting patients, check-in and check-out
• Patient scheduling, phone enquiries and appointment coordination
• Processing payments, health fund claims and patient account queries
• Delivering a warm, professional first impression for every patient
• Assisting chairside, preparing treatment rooms and supporting sterilisation when required
• Working collaboratively with dentists and the wider team to keep the clinic running smoothly

Our Chermside centre is looking for a confident, personable Dental Reception / Dental Assistant to join the team in a permanent part-time position!

This is a great opportunity to be part of something exciting:

• Be the welcoming first point of contact and the face of the clinic
• Take ownership of the front desk, often working independently on reception
• Build your skills with the opportunity to assist chairside, or to learn if you’re keen to develop
• Monday, Thursday, Saturday and/or Sunday permanent roster
