Job summary

Qualifications

• Three years’ experience in the dental industry, with practice management or senior coordination experience.
• Experience supervising staff and managing performance.
• Proficiency with dental practice management software (Core Practice preferred).
• Strong financial and administrative skills.
• Excellent communication, organisation and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily operations, appointment scheduling and workflow to support efficient use of clinician and chair time.
• Lead and support the team through clear communication, training, feedback and performance management.
• Coordinate staff rosters, leave requests and workload allocation.
• Oversee patient billing, health fund claims, payments and daily reconciliation.
• Monitor practice performance, expenditure, supplier accounts and stock levels within approved budgets.
• Maintain accurate patient records and practice management systems.
• Implement and maintain practice policies, procedures and checklists.
• Uphold WHS, infection control and patient privacy requirements.
• Manage patient enquiries, concerns and complaints professionally.
