Cairns Dental Boutique is seeking an experienced Practice Manager to oversee daily operations and lead the team. Working with owners, Principal Dentist, Clinical Coordinator and staff, you will implement efficient systems, support performance and contribute to growth of the business.

This is a key leadership role for someone organized, proactive and solutions-focused, with the ability to manage people, operations and priorities while maintaining exceptional patient care.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in practice management or senior team leadership.
• Strong leadership and conflict-resolution skills.
• Proven ability to manage staff, workflows and priorities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the smooth day-to-day operation of the practice.
• Lead, support and motivate clinical and administrative team members.
• Manage staff rosters, leave requests and daily staffing requirements.
• Coordinate patient flow, appointments and operational resources.
• Monitor KPIs, productivity and business performance.
• Support recruitment, onboarding and staff development initiatives.
• Maintain stock control, supplier relationships and operational budgets.
• Ensure compliance with relevant workplace, privacy and infection-control requirements.
• Assist with business improvement projects and practice growth initiatives.
• Support the delivery of exceptional patient care and customer service standards.
