Job summary

• Escalate issues to the Logistics Superintendent/Manager promptly.
• Collaborate with operational teams for planning and resource allocation.
• Report on overall performance of haulage tasks and optimize supply chain.

Qube Bulk division provides complete mine to market and mine resupply solutions offering mine, road, rail, storage, port and ship services. About the Role:

We currently have an opportunity for a Demand Planner to join our team in Gladstone. The Demand planner is critical for the smooth coordination of a major client’s logistical requirements across multiple sites, utilising multiple modes of transport. The demand planner communicates with key internal and external stakeholders to optimise the clients supply chain. The demand planning role requires constant engagement/communication to all the different sites throughout.

The Key duties of the role are

• To maintain communication and ensure information is circulated to all stakeholders.
• Be able to articulate carefully laid out plans to stakeholders and to follow up on assigned actions.
• On time, accurate reporting.
• Chair logistics meetings – to speak with confidence.
• Escalate issues or variances promptly through correct channels
• Escalate immediately to the Logistics Superintendent/Manager any circumstances where customer demand cannot be met.
• Coordination of all forecasting activities to support customer demands
• Laisse with operational teams for planning and resource allocation based on customer demand.
• Report on overall performance of the assigned haulage tasks

A key point is to fundamentally comprehend the operations of each site and the intricate details involved as this helps to produce more accurate and effective plans this also ties in with having positive relationship with the different sites.

The successful candidate will have the following attributes

• Be self-motivated and able to work unsupervised once trained.
• Have a current QESC or ability to obtain
