PERSOL is seeking a Delivery Manager in Canberra to unblock issues, support the delivery team and monitor performance. You will work with Product Managers to define roadmaps, remove blockers and support the team to maintain delivery throughput on a critical ICT infrastructure delivery program.

The role requires managing complex ICT projects, coordinating resources, costs and schedules, and developing governance and reporting routines.

• Managing project scope, schedule, budget, resourcing, risks, issues, procurement, stakeholder engagement, change control, governance and reporting in alignment with organisational requirements
• Managing project activities across highly complex ICT projects using established project management methodologies
• Managing, facilitating and supporting project delivery teams and individuals to achieve organisational objectives
• Maintaining appropriate systems development methods, tools and techniques
• Tracking and managing costs, timelines, quality, resource usage and issues, and taking appropriate action as required
• Managing resources for the project to ensure the deliverables are completed within identified time frame and agreed cost
• Documenting a management plan that identifies the actions required to realise benefits
• Developing and maintaining strong effective working relationships with key management personnel and internal client base
• Specified Personnel will be expected to transfer skills and knowledge to departmental staff and ensure appropriate documentation is stored in accordance with the Department's recordkeeping policy and practices
• Preparing weekly status progress reports for assigned deliverables

Jobbeschreibung

Delivery Managers unblock issues, support the delivery team, and monitor and improve performance of the team. They use agile methodologies, learning and iterating the product and processes frequently to meet user needs. They work with Product Managers to define the roadmap for products and services, remove blockers and support the delivery team so that they can maintain delivery throughput. This person will be supporting the Technology Operations & Support Branch on a critical ICT infrastructure delivery program.

• Location: Canberra, ACT (interstate candidates may also be considered)
• Contract: Until 30 June 2027 + 2 x 12-month extension options
• Working Arrangements: Initially onsite, with potential hybrid flexibility
• Security Clearance: Baseline Clearance minimum

Key duties and responsibilities

The Specified Personnel will be responsible for producing the following deliverables, including but not limited to:

• Project Initiation Document;
• Project Schedules;
• Project Implementation Plans;
• Project Management Plans;
• Benefits Management Plans;
• Stage plans;
• Baseline Change Requests - as required and if applicable;
• Statement of Requirements;
• Transition Plans;
• Log of all agreed changes to business practices and processes in accordance with the relevant program Schedules;
• Preparing weekly status progress reports for assigned deliverables;
