Job summary

Iterate Recruitment Pty is seeking a permanent Delivery Manager to lead the Data & AI initiatives and manage a team of 6 direct reports. You will work at the centre of Data & AI delivery, collaborating with Data Engineering, BI, Data Science and business stakeholders to move initiatives from discovery through to production.

This hands-on leadership role focuses on people development, building high-performing teams and delivering structured, accountable outcomes across complex technology programs.

Our client is growing its Data & AI team and looking for a permanent Delivery Manager to lead both the delivery of key Data & AI initiatives and a team of 6 direct reports.

This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who enjoys developing people, building high-performing teams and bringing structure and clarity to complex technology delivery.

About the role

You’ll sit at the centre of Data & AI delivery, partnering with Data Engineering, Business Intelligence, Data Science and business stakeholders to take initiatives from discovery through to production.

A key part of the role is people leadership. You’ll directly manage a team of 6, providing coaching, feedback and career development while creating a supportive, accountable and high-performing team environment.

What we’re looking for

• Strong people management experience, ideally leading technical or data teams


• Proven experience coaching, mentoring and developing individuals


• Strong technology delivery or project management experience


• Exposure to Data, Analytics or AI initiatives


• Experience managing multiple concurrent workstreams and competing priorities


• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
  
• Ability to bring structure, accountability and direction to complex delivery environments

Location & working arrangement

Melbourne based, hybrid — 3 days in the office and 2 days remote per week.
