Talenza are working with a client committed to driving an enterprise-wide transformation towards Agile ways of working. As part of this pivotal change, we are seeking a Delivery Manager to join their team and facilitate their transition to Agile methodologies across the organisation.

You

You will be an experienced Delivery Manager with a proven track record in leading large-scale Agile transformations. This is an immediate start with the potential for up to 18 months of work. We are looking for candidates who can quickly step in, make an impact, and guide teams through this crucial transition and ensure efficient delivery.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Agile Delivery: Ensure the successful and timely delivery of Agile projects by driving accountability, overseeing sprint progress, and removing roadblocks that could delay outcomes.
  • Agile Facilitation: Lead and support cross-functional teams in adopting Agile methodologies, ensuring collaboration and continuous improvement.
  • Enterprise Transformation: Be a key player in moving teams and stakeholders towards Agile ways of working, embedding Agile ceremonies and practices across the organisation.
  • Stakeholder Management: Engage with leadership and team members to ensure alignment, communication, and buy-in for Agile principles.
  • Problem-Solving: Identify and remove any blockers that impede progress, enabling teams to deliver efficiently and effectively.
  • Agile Coaching: Provide coaching and training to teams and individuals, whether they are new to Agile or have more experience, ensuring a smooth and effective transition.

Key Selection Criteria
  • Effective Communication with Senior Stakeholders: Demonstrated ability to engage and communicate effectively with senior stakeholders in a flat organisational structure. Proven experience in facilitating discussions, managing expectations, and ensuring alignment between business leaders, technology teams, and cross-functional squads.
  • Experience Managing Large-Scale Technology Projects: Extensive experience leading Agile delivery for major technology initiatives, including Financial Management System and CRM implementations. Strong ability to navigate complex project landscapes, ensuring seamless coordination across teams and timely delivery of critical milestones.
  • Cross-Functional Squad Leadership: Skilled in managing Agile squads comprising internal business leaders, technology experts, and system integration specialists. Experience in facilitating fortnightly sprint ceremonies, driving collaboration, and ensuring squad alignment with strategic objectives.
  • Stakeholder Engagement Across Diverse Business Units: Proven ability to work closely with non-technology stakeholders, including legal teams and finance professionals. Strong communication and facilitation skills to translate technology concepts into business language, ensuring smooth collaboration and stakeholder buy-in.
  • Regulatory and Compliance: Demonstrated experience working on projects with a regulatory focus, ensuring compliance with industry standards and legal requirements. Ability to integrate regulatory considerations into Agile delivery frameworks, mitigating risks while maintaining project agility.
  • End-to-End Project Delivery & Integration Planning: Comprehensive experience in managing projects from initial integration planning through to full implementation. Skilled in coordinating technical and business processes, ensuring successful system integration and seamless operational transitions.
