The Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Senior Delivery Lead to join a major transformation program within a large, complex organisation. This is an exciting opportunity for a delivery professional who can take ownership of a stream of business and technology initiatives, drive delivery from initial prioritisation through to release, and work closely with senior stakeholders.
You will be responsible for managing end-to-end delivery in a matrixed environment, balancing priorities, coordinating shared resources and ensuring initiatives are delivered in line with business objectives.
This role will suit a proactive, commercially minded delivery leader who influences without authority and can bring structure, accountability and momentum to complex delivery environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end delivery of a stream of features and capabilities, from initial intake and prioritisation through to implementation and release.
- Own delivery planning, capacity management, prioritisation, scheduling and reporting, working closely with program leadership and business stakeholders.
- Ensure initiatives are delivery-ready, with clearly defined business value, success measures and supporting data.
- Establish and facilitate evidence-based prioritisation processes, helping stakeholders make informed decisions based on business value and outcomes.
- Manage delivery through shared program and BAU resources, proactively planning capacity, negotiating trade-offs and escalating resource conflicts.
- Maintain clear scope boundaries and manage change control to ensure delivery remains aligned with agreed program objectives.
- Manage risks, assumptions, issues, dependencies and blockers, driving resolution and coordinating activities where required.
- Collaborate with other Delivery Leads to manage cross-program dependencies and maintain alignment across the broader transformation portfolio.
- Provide clear status reporting to senior stakeholders and contribute to program governance and steering forums.
- Coordinate release planning, cutover activities and business readiness with stakeholders
- Monitor delivery effort and costs against allocated budgets and capacity.
- Partner with Program Managers, Product Managers and business and technology SMEs to drive successful outcomes.
Key Skills and Experience

- Agile Delivery: Demonstrated experience delivering initiatives within Agile environments, from planning and prioritisation through to implementation and release.

- Stakeholder Management: Exceptional communication and influencing skills, with the ability to engage senior stakeholders and drive decisions without direct authority.
- Prioritisation and Commercial Acumen: Experience challenging competing demands, using data and business cases to support prioritisation and ensuring delivery effort is focused on the highest-value outcomes.
- Negotiation and Conflict Resolution: Confident managing competing priorities, resource constraints and stakeholder expectations.
- Problem-Solving: A structured, solutions-focused approach, with the ability to bring clarity to ambiguous and unstructured environments.
- Delivery Governance: Strong experience managing risks, issues, dependencies, scope, reporting and delivery controls.
- Tools: Proficiency with Jira, Confluence and other delivery management tools.

- Exposure to product-led delivery and capability-based prioritisation.
- Experience working with distributed teams across multiple locations and time zones.
