Kentan Machinery in Hexham, NSW is seeking a Deliveries & Equipment Installer to join our Hexham team. You will deliver machinery and equipment to customers, provide professional handovers and operator inductions, and represent our Kentan brands across the service territory.

Qualifications

• Minimum 12 months' experience in delivery, transport, machinery or customer service.
• Current HC (Heavy Combination) Driver's Licence.
• Strong commitment to workplace health and safety.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage daily schedules.
• High attention to detail and a professional presentation.
• Reliable, punctual and self-motivated.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and complete scheduled deliveries of machinery and equipment to customers.
• Safely transport equipment throughout the operating region.
• Conduct professional equipment handovers and operator inductions.
• Demonstrate safe operation and basic maintenance procedures to customers.
• Verify delivered equipment against stock and asset records.
• Assist with equipment loading and unloading.
• Maintain the presentation, cleanliness and display of equipment within dealership and hire yards.
• Assist sales staff by identifying potential customer opportunities encountered in the field.
• Support yard operations and general site maintenance as required.
• Complete delivery documentation accurately and on time.
• Adhere to all company policies, procedures and WHS requirements.
• Attend team meetings and training sessions as required.

Due to continued growth, we are seeking a motivated and hands‑on Deliveries & Equipment Installer to join our Hexham team.

About the Role

Reporting to the Sales Coordinator, you will play a critical role in delivering machinery and equipment to customers while ensuring they receive a professional handover and operational induction. You will be the face of our business, representing both Kentan Machinery and Kentan Access & Hire across our service territory.

This role suits someone who enjoys working outdoors, operating machinery, meeting customers and takes pride in delivering exceptional service.

What We're Looking For

Essential Requirements

• Minimum 12 months' experience in a similar delivery, transport, machinery or customer service role.

• Current HC (Heavy Combination) Driver's Licence.

Desirable Skills

• Experience operating agricultural, construction, access or material handling equipment.

• Mechanical aptitude and understanding of machinery operation.

• Forklift licence, crane ticket or other machinery licences advantageous.

• Knowledge of the geographical area from the Hawkesbury to Taree and west to Mudgee.

• Experience conducting equipment demonstrations or operator training.
