Job summary

Woods & Co Recruitment is partnering with a leading Melbourne hospitality group to find an experienced Deli Manager. This hands-on leadership role covers FOH and BOH, with day starts at 6:30am and finishes by 4:30pm, and a four-day week once fully trained. Expect growth through new deli openings and major events, with options for career progression.

You will own a high-volume deli operation, coach a busy team, manage rostering, labour, COGS and stock, and deliver outstanding guest experiences.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Deli Manager, Venue Manager, Restaurant Manager or similar in a high-volume environment.
• Strong FOH + BOH experience, including genuine kitchen experience and confidence leading busy service.
• Strong commercial understanding across labour, rostering, COGS, stock and waste.
• A genuine passion for food, coffee and exceptional guest experience, with high standards around quality and service.
• A hands-on, energetic leader who can build a strong team culture, stay calm under pressure and is committed to growing with the business for the long term.

• Lead from the floor during peak service, keeping the team and operation moving.
• Lead, coach and develop a high-performing hospitality team.

This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who thrives in high-volume service, knows how to bring the best out of a team and genuinely cares about food, hospitality and delivering an exceptional guest experience.

What do you need?

• Proven experience as a Deli Manager, Venue Manager, Restaurant Manager or similar in a high-volume environment, ideally $50K–$70K+ weekly sales
• Strong FOH + BOH experience, including genuine kitchen experience and confidence leading busy service
• Strong commercial understanding across labour, rostering, COGS, stock and waste
• A genuine passion for food, coffee and exceptional guest experience, with high standards around quality and service
• A hands-on, energetic leader who can build a strong team culture, stay calm under pressure and is committed to growing with the business for the long term
