Job summary

Ventia is seeking a Bookings Clerk at the Puckapunyal Defence Base to support transport and administrative tasks. You will manage fleet vehicles, schedule servicing, and handle daily transport bookings for self-drive or driver-enabled options while ensuring compliance with Defence policies.

The role requires the ability to work autonomously, manage multiple priorities, and liaise with diverse teams. Australian citizenship and clearance checks are required for contract eligibility.

Qualifications

• Experience with booking and transport coordination operations.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities in a Defence logistics environment.
• Comfort working with diverse teams and sensitive information.

Responsibilities

• Operate and manage Ventia’s fleet vehicles and Defence fleet vehicles.
• Ensure vehicles are serviced per schedules and Defence policies.
• Log usage data into Defence systems databases and track tasks.
• Provide transport booking services for self-drive or driver and vehicle options.
• Plan day-to-day transport activities and manage mail delivery.
