Job summary

Boeing Defence Australia is seeking Graduate Systems Engineers for the 2027 program. This 24-month program offers graduates a permanent full-time position and structured development across aeronautics and defence systems.

Opportunities are available in Adelaide, Brisbane and Williamtown, with exposure to E-7A Wedgetail, MQ-28 Ghost Bat, Sustainment Operations and Joint Systems. You will work in multi-disciplinary teams to deliver integrated solutions for the Australian Defence Force.

Qualifications

• Tertiary degree qualification in engineering, computer science or information technology (or anticipated graduation date before January 2027).
• Graduate program duration is 24 months.

Responsibilities

• Analyze customer requirements alongside the development of innovative solutions that ensure the full product lifecycle is optimized.
• Coordinate with other design and specialty disciplines (e.g. software, hardware, safety, security and support system engineering) to ensure that your team's products are properly integrated into the solution and delivered in a way that delights the customer.
• Verify and validate designs and products to ensure they meet operational and functional requirements.
• Develop engineering documentation and support configuration management of the system.
• Communicate and collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team in a conscientious and inclusive way to successfully deliver innovative solutions to the Australian Defence Force.
