Job summary

Babcock International is seeking an Assistant Project Manager for a flagship Defence program in Woodville North, SA. You will support day-to-day project delivery on the Collins Sustainment Program, coordinating with the Project Manager to meet safety, scope, schedule, budget, risk and quality requirements in a brand-new facility.

You will help plan, monitor and control work packages, develop estimates, and engage stakeholders while growing your project management capabilities in a complex

Qualifications

• Australian citizenship with defence security clearance (or ability to obtain).
• Project Management Qualification.
• Working knowledge of project competencies.
• Trade or mechanical background desirable.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day delivery of projects within the Collins Sustainment Program.
• Assist with planning, monitoring and controlling work packages, and develop financial and schedule estimates.
• Coordinate reporting and engage with stakeholders across the program.
• Contribute to risk management, forecasting and change control processes.
• Help shape project scope and requirements and support client meetings.
