Job summary

Thales is hiring for a Scylla Project Support Officer located in Rydalmere, NSW. The role provides essential admin and project support across the In-Service Support for the Collins class submarine program, including document control, meeting coordination, and financial administration.

You will work with a diverse team, using Lean principles and company tools, while contributing to HSE improvements and continuous processes within the UWS Programmes Office.

Qualifications

• Experience in a project administration related role.
• Proficient with Outlook, Word, Excel & PowerPoint.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and plan effectively.
• Experience learning new software packages (e.g. JIRA).

Responsibilities

• Document Control: prepare, configure, transmit and retain formal correspondence and contract deliverables.
• Moderate reviews of controlled project documents.
• Ensure monthly updates of periodic reports; schedule meetings and track actions.
• Raise purchase orders and acquit invoices as required.
• Schedule and update project meetings; draft agendas and minutes.
• Administer staff allowances: Commitment, Offsite & Travel.
• Coordinate project actions using company tools (JIRA); manage office supplies for the Office.
• Support administration of the Scylla ISS SharePoint Site.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of admin processes and Lean initiatives.
• Support HSE culture and improvements within the group.
