The role requires NV1/NV2 clearance and 3–5 years of direct defence procurement experience, with strong stakeholder management and risk-aware negotiating across domestic and international suppliers.

Qualifications

• Mastery of strategic sourcing and purchasing workflows in a heavily regulated Defence environment.
• Familiarity with Defence procurement frameworks (e.g., ASDEFCON).
• Experience integrating ILS, FMS, and Export Controls into contracts.
• Strong financial literacy and value-for-money focus.
• Excellent stakeholder management with legal and vendor negotiations.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end strategic sourcing and high-value contract execution.
• Negotiate with international and domestic suppliers to optimise value and risk.
• Oversee supplier performance and contract compliance against milestones and budgets.
• Align procurement with ILS plans for lifecycle efficiency.
• Manage documentation and touchpoints for Foreign Military Sales (FMS).
• Embed ITAR/EAR export control considerations into procurement processes.
