Box Hill Institute is seeking expressions of interest for an Operations Manager - Defence to lead the Defence Faculty's operational, administrative and support services at Simpson Barracks in Watsonia. You will drive performance, compliance, and continuous improvement while building strong Defence and industry relationships.

Ideal candidates will have senior operations leadership experience, qualifications in Business Administration/Management, and a current TAE40122.

Qualifications

• Experience leading complex operational functions in fast-paced environments.
• Proven ability to manage governance, reporting and continuous improvement.
• Strong stakeholder engagement with Defence or Government is valued.

Responsabilités

• Lead delivery of operational, administrative, compliance and support functions.
• Provide advisory support to Head of Defence and oversee projects and reporting.
• Monitor performance, scheduling and resource utilisation against objectives.
• Build and develop a multidisciplinary, high‑performance team.
• Ensure compliance with legislative and contractual requirements and audits.
• Manage student lifecycle and service delivery processes.
• Foster relationships with Defence personnel and external partners.
• Support project implementations and process improvements.
