Job summary

MSS Security Pty Ltd is seeking a defence‑focused portfolio professional to join our national security team. You will lead workforce management, recruitment support, and service‑delivery oversight across contracts to ensure compliance and performance.

You will collaborate with regional management, develop contract reports, manage risk registers, and contribute to risk reduction and business continuity plans, while continuing to build strong internal relationships and uphold our standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in defence or similarly regulated industries.
• Experience rostering, labour planning and forecasting.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management.
• Administrative competence with systems, documents, time management and reporting.
• People management including coaching, performance management and succession planning.
• Experience drafting standard operating procedures and auditing against such systems.
• ACT Security Licence; Australian citizenship; eligible for AGSVA clearance/DCAC.
• Cert IV or higher in Leadership/Management or equivalent, or willingness to complete.

Responsibilities

• Workforce management to ensure service delivery complies with contract requirements.
• Support recruitment to ensure a pool of security-cleared personnel to underpin anticipated workforce demands and surge requirements
• Service delivery monitoring ensuring MSS Security meet quality (compliance and conformance) and performance requirements.
• Resolution of service delivery non-performance, non-compliance, and non-conformance issues, including development of service delivery improvement and innovation initiatives.
• Data collation and preparation of contract service delivery reports.
• Support the Regional Manager with Contract Change Proposals.
• Undertake procurement to support service delivery.
• Collate site-specific Risk Registers and identify opportunities to reduce risk.
• Contribute to the regional IMS implementation, business system improvements, the Business Improvement Plan, and the regional Business Continuity Plan.
