Job summary

KBR Australia is seeking a Supply Chain Management Officer to join our Defence ICT assets team in Canberra. You will manage asset codification, inventory, and distribution across defence networks, working with stakeholders and suppliers to sustain critical capabilities.

The role requires Defence SCM qualifications, ERP/TAMIT experience, and NV1 clearance, with a focus on accuracy, compliance, and continuous improvement within a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Defence-recognised SCM qualifications are required.
• Experience with ERP and TAMIT SCM tools.
• Strong organisational skills with ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; stakeholder engagement skills.
• Current NV1 security clearance is required.

Responsibilities

• Manage the codification, cataloguing, tracking, and disposal of Defence ICT assets
• Maintain inventory accuracy across Defence asset management systems, including TAMIT and ERP platforms
• Conduct periodic asset reconciliations against Configuration Management Databases (CMDB)
• Support routine maintenance activities, including equipment cleaning, charging, and preservation
• Coordinate Electrical Integrity Testing (EIT) schedules and asset tagging requirements
• Update CMDB and asset management systems while maintaining accurate records and reporting
• Generate certificates and supporting documentation for securely disposed assets
• Coordinate warehousing, packaging, transport, and distribution of ICT equipment through Defence and commercial supply networks
• Support the movement of critical ICT equipment to Defence establishments, operational locations, exercises, and maritime platforms
• Work closely with Defence customers and stakeholders to support new capabilities entering service and their ongoing sustainment
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance logistics, asset management, and mission outcomes
