Job summary

KBR in Australia seeks a Supply Officer (ERP Purchasing, Codification Support) to manage day-to-day purchasing, codification and cataloguing. You will work within the Supply Team to reduce through-life costs and support readiness, reporting to the Supply Manager. A Baseline security clearance is required.

The role is based in Sydney on a permanent full-time basis, with opportunities to apply defence procurement knowledge and ERP systems experience to support major Australian defence projects.

Qualifications

• Certificate IV in Materiel Logistics or equivalent.
• At least 5 years' Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) or logistics engineering in Defence or related industry.
• Strong knowledge of Defence logistics management systems, including ERP.
• Understanding of Defence procurement with SCPM/AMPs advantageous.
• Eligible for ITAR clearance; Baseline Defence Clearance required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee procurement and sparing to align with lifecycle targets.
• Monitor procurement for engineering changes and escalate risks.
• Manage inventory logistics, stock holdings and supply-demand.
• Address material shortages by sourcing alternatives and maintaining supplier relationships.
• Maintain master data, ERP updates, stock codes and cataloguing.
• Support lifecycle cost analysis and ILS improvements.
• Manage obsolescence, risk, configuration data and disposal.
