Job summary

Ventia in Albury Wodonga is seeking a dedicated Guest Services Agent to deliver warm, professional service in our Defence Living and Working Services team.

You’ll coordinate bookings, ensure rooms are guest-ready, resolve enquiries, and work closely with housekeeping to maintain high standards, enabling memorable stays for Defence personnel and their visitors.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in customer service, reception, administration, hospitality or accommodation services
• A diploma or degree in hospitality management or a related field (advantageous)
• Experience using RMS or similar accommodation booking systems (desirable)
• Proficiency in MS Office and record-keeping systems
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Attention to detail
• Respectful and inclusive approach to working with diverse communities
• Most importantly, you'll be a team player who enjoys building positive relationships and delivering a great customer experience.

Responsibilities

• Coordinating accommodation bookings, arrivals and departures
• Managing room allocations and occupancy records
• Conducting room inspections and maintaining accommodation standards
• Working closely with housekeeping teams to ensure room readiness
• Responding to customer enquiries and resolving accommodation-related issues
• Building strong relationships with Defence personnel and site stakeholders
• Maintaining accommodation records and reporting requirements
• Supporting quality, compliance and service delivery outcomes
