Job summary

Service Stream is seeking Casual Grounds Maintenance Operators to support the Defence precinct contract at Larrakeyah, NT. These roles involve manual and machinery-assisted outdoor work across construction, land management, and infrastructure projects, with a focus on safety and efficiency.

Based in the Larrakeyah Defence Precinct, you will operate mowers, blowers, and other landscaping equipment, perform general labour, and assist tradespeople while maintaining site safety.

Qualifications

• Australian citizen capable of obtaining Defence Security Clearance.
• White Card and First Aid certification highly regarded.
• Relevant licences and landscaping experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and clear land for construction, agriculture, or infrastructure projects.
• Operate mowing, blowers, and other landscaping equipment safely.
• Load, transport, and handle materials and equipment on site.
• Assist tradespeople and site crews with tasks.
• Conduct equipment checks and report faults or hazards.
• Maintain tidy, safe work areas and participate in toolbox talks.
