Job summary

Service Stream is hiring multiple Grounds Maintenance Operators for permanent full-time roles at RAAF Tindal, NT. You will perform a range of manual and machinery-assisted tasks in outdoor environments, supporting construction, agriculture, and infrastructure projects while upholding safety standards.

Ideal candidates are skilled with mowing, blowing, compacting, and irrigation work, and can follow directions, work with teams, and maintain PPE and OH&S practices on site.

Qualifications

• Australian Citizenship and ability to obtain Defence Security Clearance.
• Experience operating landscaping equipment in outdoor environments.
• Ability to work in all weather and lift heavy materials.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and clear land for construction, agriculture, or infrastructure projects.
• Operate plant and construction machinery safely and efficiently.
• Load, transport, and handle materials and equipment on site.
• Perform manual labour including digging, lifting and trenching.
• Support tradespeople and crews with general site tasks.
• Conduct equipment checks and report faults or hazards.
