Job summary

Saab Australia is seeking a Configuration and Data Management Officer to deliver CM and data management for the Air Traffic Management program. You will identify baselines, support boards and audits, and ensure data and media are properly catalogued and retrievable.

Applicants should have CM training or related experience, plus at least 5 years in Defence or related industries. Flexible hybrid work from home/office is available along with a strong focus on data integrity and stakeholder liaison.

Qualifications

• Industry recognised Configuration and Data Management training or equivalent professional experience.
• Minimum of 5 years Defence or industry experience in a project-based team or product engineering environment.
• Exposure to ASDEFCON templates and contracting framework.
• Understanding of the Configuration Management Standard EIA649C.
• Proven ability to liaise effectively with internal customers.
• High level of computer literacy with Word and Excel.
• Experience with CM databases and document management systems.

Responsibilities

• Ensure CM processes are implemented across the ATM Program.
• Coordinate management of engineering data, project documentation and media.
• Support Configuration Control Boards and audits.
• Register, track and report configuration changes in work products.
• Prepare CSARs in accordance with CM plans and procedures.
