Job summary

Chandler Macleod is recruiting for an experienced Capability Development Support Officer to assist a Defence capability development program. The role focuses on governance, information management and administrative support across multiple activities.

You will work with program stakeholders, support governance forums, coordinate taskings and maintain records while ensuring meticulous attention to detail in a high-profile environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in project support, governance or program coordination.
• Excellent MS Office and collaboration tools.
• Strong information management capabilities.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders and priorities.
• Experience supporting governance forums, boards or project teams.
• Experience managing records and document control processes.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate correspondence, information flows and shared document repositories.
• Support governance boards, committees, working groups and stakeholder meetings.
• Prepare agendas, briefing packs, decision-support documentation and meeting minutes.
• Manage action registers, task tracking and reporting requirements.
• Coordinate stakeholder taskings and consolidate responses for governance artefacts.
• Maintain records and document repositories in accordance with information management requirements.
• Support audit, assurance and compliance activities.
• Assist with workforce coordination, business management and administrative functions.
• Provide broader program coordination support as required.
