Lockheed Martin in Canberra is seeking a senior Business Development Manager to lead the identification, shaping, development and capture of strategic opportunities across the MFC portfolio in Australia and New Zealand. Experience in business development within defence or national security sectors.
Strong ability to identify, shape and capture complex opportunities.
Excellent relationship-building and influencing skills with senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Drive development and execution of the BD strategy for Australia and New Zealand within the MFC BD team.
Identify, assess and prioritise strategic opportunities across defence and national security markets.
Contribute to shaping and capturing major opportunities from early customer engagement to contract award.
Build and maintain relationships with senior customers, government stakeholders and industry partners.
Act as a central point of contact for MFC strategy and BD activities across ANZ.
Collaborate across lines of business and Lockheed Martin to maximise growth opportunities.
Provide strategic assessments and recommendations to senior leadership on market opportunities, risks and probability of success.
