Job summary

Hall & Prior Aged Care Group is seeking casual inspectors to assess off-the-plan apartments and homes prior to handover, recording defects for a quality finish. Two roles exist: Melbourne CBD area and Rouse Hill, NSW, with flexible hours and ongoing training.

You will conduct thorough defect inspections, guide purchasers through pre-settlement checks, and document details accurately while collaborating with builders and the settlement team. Training is provided and hours vary with project volume.

Qualifications

• Current White Card (Construction Induction) is required.
• Availability for at least 3 days per week when projects run.
• Professional presentation with strong customer service.
• Ability to guide purchasers through new homes and answer questions.
• Strong attention to detail and written communication.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Bachelor of Construction Management or related experience is highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Complete thorough defect inspections on new apartments and homes using the inspection platform.
• Guide purchasers through pre-settlement inspections with the settlement team.
• Record inspection details clearly, consistently and accurately.
• Learn each project’s inspection requirements and workmanship standards.
• Work professionally with site teams, builders and other stakeholders.
• Perform additional tasks depending on the project.
