Job summary

Bayside Group is seeking Building Assessors to conduct condition assessments on publicly owned buildings across Victoria. You will travel to diverse sites, collecting data with tablets, 3D imaging cameras or smartphones, and capture the condition of building fabrics.

Ideal candidates will have experience with defect inspections, own a reliable vehicle, and hold a Working with Children Check. This role offers full-time hours and site-based work across Victoria.

Qualifications

• Experience with defect or condition inspections across large commercial buildings or multisite projects.
• Ability to travel and use data capture tools on-site.
• Proficient with smartphones, tablets and cameras for data collection.

Responsibilities

• Identify and record data on location and condition of building fabrics (cladding, walls, floors, ceilings).
• Provide thorough data capture and upload data as directed to minimise data loss.
• Capture clear images of defects and hazards and apply correct condition rating.
• Engage with the team to verify data capture quality.
