They work with leading developers and builders to get new homes ready for handover, helping deliver outstanding homes to purchasers. Their values of presence, truth, integrity, service, evolution and kinship guide how the team communicates, leads and serves together.

About The Opportunity

The primary purpose of this position is to inspect off-the-plan apartments and homes before handover, finding and recording defects so our client can deliver a quality finished product. With project numbers growing, two casual roles are available: one in Melbourne, covering the CBD and surrounding suburbs, and one in Rouse Hill, NSW.

Some of your responsibilities will include:

• Completing thorough defect inspections on new apartments and homes using the inspection platform
• Taking purchasers through their pre-settlement inspections alongside the settlement team
• Recording inspection details clearly, consistently and accurately
• Learning each project's inspection requirements and workmanship standards
• Working professionally with site teams, builders and other stakeholders

About You

The successful candidate will have:

• A current Construction Induction Card (White Card)

• Professional presentation and strong customer service skills
• Confidence walking purchasers through their new home and answering their questions
• Strong attention to detail and good written communication
• The ability to work on your own and as part of a team
• Highly regarded, but not essential: a Bachelor of Construction Management (completed or in progress), customer-facing experience, or experience in construction or off-the-plan residential property

Experienced inspector or new to the industry? You're welcome to apply. Your rate will reflect your experience, and full training is provided. The role also suits students in construction, property, architecture or engineering looking for real site experience alongside their study.
