Job summary

Metcash is seeking a Pricing Data Assistant for a 12-month fixed term contract at the Huntingwood office, with three days on site and two days remote. You’ll ensure pricing data accuracy, input deals, and support reporting and supplier inquiries to uphold data integrity and service excellence.

You’ll work closely with internal ALM teams, data admins and stakeholders, demonstrating strong data entry, communication, and analytical skills in a fast-paced, values-led environment.

About The Opportunity

This is a 12-Month Fixed Term Contract role responsible for ensuring the accuracy, consistency, and integrity of pricing data associated with liquor product deals, supporting the reliability of business operations. Acting as a central point of contact, you will liaise with suppliers, customers, and internal teams to respond to enquiries, resolve pricing issues, and support deals and promotions. A strong focus on accuracy, responsiveness, and service excellence is key to enhancing internal and external customer satisfaction. The role is based at the Huntingwood office, 3 days a week with 2 days working from home.

In this Role

• Cultivate strong relationships with the internal ALM teams, serving as a reliable point of contact.
• Accurately input deal/ promotion information into Metcash core systems within agreed timelines
• Regularly review and generate reports to assess the accuracy and completeness of pricing data.
• Take proactive steps to rectify any inconsistencies or inaccuracies, ensuring a high level of data integrity across all relevant systems.
• Address inquiries, issues, and concerns promptly and professionally, contributing to overall customer satisfaction.
• Keep relevant parties informed about deal/ promotions progress, potential challenges, and solutions in a proactive manner.
