Job summary

Societe Generale Corporate & Investment Banking in Sydney, Australia, seeks an Analyst in Debt Capital Markets to join a dynamic, globally connected team. You will gain hands-on experience across marketing, origination, execution and closing of capital market transactions.

The role offers exposure to a diverse client base including corporates and financial institutions in Australia and New Zealand, with opportunities to build strong client relationships and develop deep market insights.

Qualifications

University degree in Finance, Commerce, Law, Accounting or Engineering.
Post graduate qualifications considered favourably.
No previous experience required, however DCM/Investment Banking experience would be considered favourably.
Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills.
Ability to articulate complex concepts in writing and speech.

Responsibilities

Generate pitch material that is clear, structured, and compelling.
Lead the preparation of marketing documents (market updates, peer analysis, pricing indications).
Monitor primary market developments (transactions, pipeline, rumours).
Prepare updates of relevant capital markets data.
Assist in end-to-end execution of transactions.
Produce bespoke analyses for clients.
Research latest product developments and business opportunities.
