Job summary

Officeworks is launching its largest Supply Chain site in Redbank, Queensland, and seeks a DC Administrator to anchor operations at Brisbane-area site. The role covers payroll, facilities, and general admin to keep the wheels turning.

You’ll work across payroll for staff, manage site access, coordinate supplies, and support safety and operations leaders. A proactive, organized communicator will thrive in our fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

  • Experience in administration, payroll, or accounts processing.
  • High-volume customer service support experience.
  • Excellent organizational skills with ability to juggle priorities.

Responsibilities

  • Payroll & Accounts: manage payroll for waged and labour-hire staff, process invoices, handle accruals.
  • Facilities & Site Access: coordinate maintenance, manage contractor visits, control site access and passes.
  • Office & Operations Support: central office coordination, uniform and consumable orders, Fire Warden, admin support to Safety/Operations leaders.
  • Treasurer for the TCE committee to support workplace culture.

We’re launching our largest Supply Chain site in Redbank, Queensland - a major investment in scale, innovation, and the future of our retail network. This is a rare opportunity to join and help bring a large‑scale operation to life from the ground up.

The Opportunity:

Step into the heart of our new Redbank facility! As our Distribution Centre Administrator, you will be the operational anchor of our site.

From ensuring our hardworking team is paid accurately to coordinating facilities and managing vital supplies, no two days are the same. What You’ll Be Doing:

We’ve bundled the day-to-day so you can see exactly where you’ll make your mark:

  • Payroll & Accounts: You'll manage and administer payroll for both waged and labour-hire staff, process invoices, handle monthly accruals, and keep our financials ticking smoothly.
  • Facilities & Site Access:Keep our environment safe and secure by coordinating maintenance, managing contractor visits, and controlling site access and visitor passes.
  • Office & Operations Support:Act as the central point for office coordination. You'll manage uniform and consumable orders, act as a Fire Warden, and provide crucial administrative support to our Safety and Operations leaders.
  • Community Champion:Foster a great workplace culture by acting as the Treasurer for our TCE (Team, Community, Environment) committee.
About you

What You Bring to the Team

You will have your own unique journey to date, but here is what will set you up for success:

  • Experience:Proven background in administration, payroll, or accounts processing. You have a track record of supporting customers (internal or external) in a high-volume environment.
  • Superb Organisation:Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to juggle multiple priorities without breaking a sweat in a fast-paced setting.
  • People First:A genuine passion for helping people, solving problems, and communicating effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Tech Savvy:Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office and general administrative/finance systems.
  • Bonus Points:A background in warehouse/DC operations, Lean/Continuous Improvement methodologies, or certificates in Supply Chain, Logistics, or Health & Safety will be highly regarded!
