Officeworks is launching its largest supply-chain distribution center in Redbank, Queensland, seeking a DC Systems Manager to lead the technology powering a next-generation omni-channel operation. The role centers on securing performance of WMS, WES and RCS, and collaborating with technology partners to deliver high-quality, scalable logistics solutions.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in manufacturing, automated warehousing, or a high-velocity logistics environment.
• Hands-on exposure to Supply-Chain systems such as WMS, TMS, RCS and strong SQL skills (SAP experience highly regarded).
• Background in business workflow mapping and continuous improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma, etc.).
• Education: Certificate I-IV or a Diploma/Degree (or equivalent) in Information Technology, Engineering, Robotics, Mechatronics, or Supply-Chain.
• Excellent communication, troubleshooting aptitude, and natural leadership to guide operations teams through tech-driven changes.

• Own the performance of new WMS, WES, and RCS systems, optimizing material and workflow logic for best-in-class omni-channel DC performance.
• Partner with technology vendors, reviewing SLAs and KPIs to ensure quality delivery.
• Collaborate with Technology, Supply-Chain CI, and Operations teams to map business workflows and drive system enhancements.
• Diagnose and document operational system issues on the floor, working closely with IT and network infrastructure teams.
• Support go-live activities, troubleshooting during critical periods and ensuring smooth operation.

• Location: Brand‑New, State‑of‑the‑Art Omnichannel DC (Redbank, QLD)
• Role Type: Full‑Time, Permanent
• Start Date: 7 September 2026

Key Responsibilities

• Own the performance of new WMS, WES, and RCS systems, optimizing material and workflow logic for best‑in‑class omni‑channel DC performance.
