Job summary

WorkPac Group is seeking a reliable Sorter / General Hand for a Waste Industry role at the Somersby site. You'll sort recyclables on a conveyor, remove materials from the waste stream, and keep the workspace clean during operations. The role offers day, afternoon, or night shifts with penalty rates and weekly pay.

Qualifications

• Must be physically fit and able to perform demanding manual tasks.
• Ability to work unsupervised in a fast-paced recycling environment.
• Forklift ticket is desirable; valid certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Remove materials from waste stream at designated position.
• Sort recyclable materials moving along a conveyor belt.
• Maintain a clean and safe workspace during stoppages and breakdowns.
• Perform general labouring duties as required.
