Job summary

Bakers Delight North Rocks is seeking a motivated and energetic Qualified Baker to join our bakery team in Sydney. This full-time role requires availability across a 7-day roster with early starts around 4am and duties including preparation, production, and quality control of bakery goods.

Applicants with 1 year of experience or a Certificate III in Baking will have an advantage. Training will be provided for BDH recipes and safety standards will be followed in a fast-paced team environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year experience in baking or related field.
• Certificate III in Baking is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and produce quality bakery products.
• Inspect equipment and premises for safety.
• Weigh ingredients and maintain quality standards.
• Mix, knead, mature, cut, mould, and shape dough and pastry goods.
• Prepare pastry fillings and glaze buns or decorate cakes.
• Operate ovens and equipment and monitor baking times.
• Assist in forming, baking, cooling and handling products.
• Train and supervise apprentices or staff as needed.
