Job summary

Bakers Delight Glenomore Park in Glenmore Park, NSW, is seeking a motivated qualified Baker to join our bakery team. You will bake bread and pastries per our menu, maintain cleanliness, and monitor quality throughout production.

A formal baking qualification or 1 year of industry experience.
Experience in pastry and bread production is a plus.

Responsibilities

Making and preparing bakery items as per menu.
Ensuring the cleanliness of equipment and premises before production, complying with health and safety regulations.
Monitoring the quality of raw materials and weighing ingredients for baking.
Kneading, maturing, cutting, moulding, mixing, and shaping dough and pastry goods.
Preparing various pastry fillings according to recipe specifications.
Regulating oven temperatures and monitoring baking times for product appearance.
Coordinating formation, loading, baking, unloading, de-panning, and cooling of batches of bread, rolls, and other pastry products.
Applying glazes to buns and pastries and decorating cakes with cream and icing.
