Job summary

Sydney Children’s Hospitals Foundation (SCHF) is seeking a Data & Reporting Analyst to join the Data & Technology team in delivering data-driven insights and dashboards to optimise fundraising and donor engagement. You will collaborate across data analytics, engineering and CRM to translate requirements into actionable reporting.

The role emphasises Power BI, SQL, and data partnerships, with flexible hours and remote work options across multiple office locations in Sydney.

Qualifications

• Degree in Business Analytics, Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science or a related field
• 1–2 years’ experience in reporting, data analytics or a related analytical role
• Strong SQL skills for data extraction, transformation and analysis
• Proficiency in Power BI for dashboard development, reporting and data visualisation
• Experience working with data from multiple sources to support business reporting and analysis
• Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving and critical reasoning skills
• Ability to translate business requirements into analytical solutions and reporting outcomes
• Ability to communicate analytical insights to technical and non-technical audiences
• Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills
• Demonstrated curiosity and commitment to continuous learning

Responsibilities

• Leverage SCHF data assets to improve understanding of donors and fundraising performance
• Identify and utilise relevant data sources to support analytical needs
• Partner with stakeholders to understand business challenges and translate requirements
• Conduct ad-hoc analyses to answer business questions and support decision-making
• Develop, maintain and enhance dashboards and recurring reports in Power BI
• Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders for data-informed decisions
• Collaborate with data analysts, data engineers and CRM specialists to deliver solutions
• Support fundraising events and campaigns with timely reporting and insights
