Qantas Group is undergoing a data platform transformation to a Snowflake-based platform. The Senior Manager, Data Product and Engagement, leads the data product portfolio for Qantas Airways, QantasLink and shared services, converting fragmented demand into a coherent, governed set of data products.

The role requires 10+ years in data and analytics, and a track record of delivering enterprise-scale data products in a large organisation.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative or technical discipline; postgraduate qualifications desirable but not essential.
• Proven ownership of an enterprise data product or analytics portfolio with prioritisation, lifecycle management, and delivery accountability.
• Deep knowledge of data product practices including data-as-a-product, data contracts, interfaces and domain ownership.
• Strong portfolio delivery discipline across multiple teams including estimation and dependency management.
• Experience establishing data product operating models and securing business accountability in a matrixed environment.
• Ability to develop investment cases, quantify funding and secure executive support.

Responsabilidades

• Lead the team of Data Product Leads and represent the function at governance forums.
• Own and prioritise the enterprise data product portfolio across Qantas Airways, QantasLink and shared functions.
• Resolve competing demand and align with enterprise value and platform standards.
• Manage the portfolio roadmap, delivery commitments, dependencies, risks and budget.
• Maximise portfolio value through reuse of data products and cost/benefit tracking.
• Lead migration from legacy platforms to the Snowflake-based platform with validated business acceptance.
• Establish and embed the data product operating model with accountable business owners.
