Job summary

Umbrella Club is seeking experienced Data Platform / DevSecOps Engineers for an upcoming engagement in a complex enterprise environment. The role focuses on delivering a modern Azure-based data platform with DevOps, CI/CD, IaC and DevSecOps practices, establishing reusable engineering patterns for future platform adoption.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in Data, Cloud, Platform Engineering or DevSecOps.
• Hands-on Azure, Azure DevOps and Terraform experience.
• Experience with CI/CD, DevSecOps and security automation.
• Strong understanding of Azure data platforms, monitoring and deployment automation.
• Excellent technical problem-solving and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

Umbrella Club is seeking expressions of interest from experienced Data Platform / DevSecOps Engineers for an upcoming engagement within a complex enterprise environment.

This role will support the delivery of a modern Azure-based data platform, focusing on DevOps, CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code and DevSecOps practices, while establishing reusable engineering patterns for future platform adoption.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop and implement Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines and deployment workflows.
• Build and maintain Terraform / Infrastructure as Code (IaC) patterns.
• Implement DevSecOps, security scanning and deployment gates.
• Configure monitoring, logging and environment automation.
• Develop reusable engineering patterns and technical documentation.
• Ensure solutions are scalable and adaptable for future Microsoft Fabric or Databricks adoption.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

• 10+ years of Data, Cloud, Platform Engineering or DevSecOps experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with Azure, Azure DevOps and Terraform.
• Experience with CI/CD, DevSecOps and security automation.
• Strong understanding of Azure data platforms, monitoring and deployment automation.
• Excellent technical problem-solving and documentation skills.
