Queensland Department of Education’s Queensland Academy for Science, Mathematics and Technology is seeking a Data Management and Analysis Officer to support data-driven decisions. The role focuses on developing and maintaining management information systems to deliver accurate data for performance analysis and planning.

You will query databases using Microsoft Access and Excel, help identify data quality issues, and deliver regular and ad hoc reports to school leadership to inform improvement

Responsibilities

• Use departmental tools and resources (including Microsoft Access and Excel) to query and retrieve data stored in corporate information systems and database, and to analyse and present this data in various formats for school management teams.
• Identify and assist the correction of data errors in consultation with management stakeholders across the School.
• Assist school management through the provision of regular and ad hoc reports and information.

This role will play an important part in supporting effective data management, analysis and reporting to inform strategic planning, monitor student outcomes and strengthen school improvementinitiatives.

About the Role:
