Job summary

ChildFund Australia is seeking a data insights professional to turn supporter and program data into trusted information for fundraising and performance analysis. You will build and maintain Power BI reports, validate outputs, and partner with teams to drive informed decisions.

The role focuses on data quality, reconciliation, and producing recurring reporting while documenting data products and governance. Strong SQL, Power BI, and stakeholder communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Strong SQL skills with multi-step transformations.
• Experience building Power BI reports with data modelling (DAX).
• Demonstrated accuracy: reconciling figures and tracing discrepancies.
• Experience gathering requirements from non-technical stakeholders and delivering results.
• Tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline or equivalent practical experience.

Responsibilities

• Deliver, validate and monitor recurring reporting and campaigns data.
• Own data quality rules and reconciliation processes; investigate exceptions.
• Gather stakeholder requirements and translate into well-scoped data products; document usage.
• Keep code and report logic in source control; ensure secure handling of data.
