Job summary

Optus is seeking a Data Enablement Lead to drive data governance, pipelines, and trusted analytics across Billing & Credit and the wider organisation. You will lead data maturity, manage data risk, and champion secure data access to enable informed decisions that improve operations and customer outcomes.

You will partner with stakeholders, guide data solutions, and mentor analysts, shaping a data-driven culture with robust controls and scalable reporting.

Qualifications

• Strong data engineering and analytics expertise with tertiary qualifications and certifications.
• Experience delivering cloud-based data solutions including data warehousing and ETL.
• Proven leadership in data governance and analytics, driving data quality and business outcomes.
• Exceptional stakeholder engagement, communication and problem solving in complex environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and delivery of enterprise data solutions, including data integration and pipeline development.
• Drive data governance, risk management, and access controls with cross-functional alignment.
• Develop scalable reporting and analytics capabilities through trusted data sources.
• Champion a data-driven culture, support self-service analytics, and mentor analysts.
