Optus is seeking a Data Enablement Lead to drive trusted data solutions across Billing & Credit. You will lead data governance, build robust pipelines, and enable informed decision-making to improve operational performance and customer outcomes.
You will champion a data-driven culture, mentor analysts, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver best-practice data services and scalable analytics capabilities.
Every day, millions of Australians connect, work, stream, and stay in touch on the Optus network. When it works seamlessly, it’s easy to take for granted. But behind it is a team making thousands of decisions every day - decisions that keep people, businesses and communities connected.
Right now, Optus is focused on getting the fundamentals right - simplifying how we work, lifting standards, and building a more reliable, resilient experience for our customers.
It’s not about surface-level change. It’s about how we make decisions, how we work together, and how we deliver.
As a Data Enablement Lead, you will leverage your expertise in data management, analytics, governance, and stakeholder engagement to deliver trusted, high-quality data solutions that support strategic business outcomes. Working closely with stakeholders across Billing & Credit and the wider organisation, this role will drive data maturity, manage data risk and control frameworks, lead remediation initiatives, and ensure best-practice delivery of data services. The successful candidate will champion a strong data culture by improving secure data accessibility, developing robust data pipelines and single sources of truth, and enabling informed decision-making that enhances operational performance, customer outcomes, collections effectiveness, and business growth.
We believe the right mindset matter more than a perfect CV. We’ll back you to grow from there.
