Qualifications

• Relevant tertiary qualifications in Information Technology, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field.
• Extensive experience in leading cloud-based data management, integration, and AI-driven analytics teams.
• Strong understanding of event-driven architecture and modern data storage solutions.
• Demonstrated experience in implementing data governance frameworks and overseeing data quality initiatives.
• Proven ability to lead, develop, and motivate high-performing teams in a customer-focused environment.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills at all levels.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop teams focused on information and data management, governance, integration, reporting, and analytics.
• Foster collaborative relationships with stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery aligned with the City’s Digital Strategy.
• Implement best practices for information and data security, architecture, integration, and analytics solutions.
• Drive data literacy initiatives across the City and lead the formation of related Communities of Practice and the Data Quality Working Group.
• Oversee vendor performance and ensure data policies and quality standards support business intelligence and comply with legislative requirements.
